Kathmandu - Garima Gyawali was crowned Miss Little Idol 2012
at an event on August 25 at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi. Jophan Lama and
Simran Khadka won the title of the 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up, respectively.
The 4th Miss Little Idol was organized by Action Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

50 contestants from 29 schools participated in Miss Little
Idol 2012. The contestants, between the ages of 8 to 13 years, appeared nervous
but managed to answer the judges’ questions.
There were nine judges, among who were Jayan Subba Manandhar,
choreographer; Regina Upreti, actor and Hem Subedi, Senior Producer at Radio
Kantipur.
Chedup Lama choreographed two dance routines for the event, one
of which was performed by Nishma Ghimire from Cham Chami Season 2. In the
Cultural Dress Round, the little contestants looked pretty in the cultural
dresses they wore, representing various cultures from all over Nepal.
Garima also bagged the title of Miss Talent. The Talent
Round was organized at DECC Hall, United World Trade Centre, Tripureshwor on
August 18. After being crowned Miss Little Idol 2012, Garima won cash prize of
Rs 15,000 and gift hampers.

Sharing her experiences, Dechen Lama, Miss Little Idol 2011,
said, “I got a lot of opportunities through this competition. Now one of the
most beautiful chapters of my life is closing here.”
The event was sponsored by Chaudhary Group while IEC School
of Art and Fashion was the official dress designer and Neel David’s Saloon and
Academy was the official hair
dresser.
