Kathmandu - Information Communication and Technology Association (ICT) is organising the 5th Info-Trade Fair 2012 from Jan 5 to 10 at Exhibition Hall, Bhrikuti Mandap.
ICT, an institution working to develop the country’s IT sector, has been organising similar expos every year. The informative event is expected to enhance demand for products related to the sector.
Unlike previous events, the fifth edition of the fair will focus on branded products which are popular in the domestic and international markets, according to the association.
Products from brands like Avid, Baleyo, ChiMei, Creative, Delta, Digicom, EV, Fujikura, Hasee, Inktech, Nameste, Philips, Smart Cell and ZTE will be among the main attractions at the display.
Similarly, the fair will be showcasing the latest models of products like desktop computers, laptops, servers, touch pads, LCD and LED monitors, networking systems, CCTVs and printers.
ICT has provided online booking facilities for exhibitors. In a bid to promote domestically produced software, such companies will be offered a 40 percent discount on stall booking charges, stated a press release.
