Kathmandu - Beauty contest and pageants have been gaining much popularity in Nepal. 
'Miss Kirat 2012' was held on Thursday at Rastriya Nach Ghar, Kathmandu. In the event, 16 contestants participated to claim the title of the year 2012. The girls from Rai, Kirat communities represented.
     The title was awarded to  Yuma Rai . The first runner-up was Seli Rai and the second runner-up title was awarded to  Shrijha Rai. The third runner-up title was awarded to  Yokki Rai.

Yuma, along with the crown received cash. The event has organized by Kirat Rai Maulik Kendra.
