Kathmandu - The beauties of Nepali film fraternity
are not only stepping into acting but also into the field of a production.
The Nepali film industry is beginning to see a
number of female executive producers, first assistant directors, who have been
learning the ropes of filmmaking and film trade.Of them, the courageous one who has come to
limelight is Rekha Thapa, who has her own film banner titled 'Rekha Films'.
Likewise, another female producer 'Krisha
Chaulagain' is also continuously producing her films. She debuted in the
industry with her film 'Kasam Hajurko' and also busy with her upcoming film 'Ke
ma timro sathi banna sakchu".
Another actress Mausami Malla is also involved in
film making. He is preparing for her new venture 'Mission Naya Nepal' which is
about to release. As an actress and producer, Uma Baby' has also about to debut
in this industry.
Actress like Richa Ghimire and Jharana Thapa are
actively involving in the film production together with their husband.
The entry of these women into the industry was a
well-planned move on their part. They had talents to prove and it was
acknowledged.
Normally, Films of Bollywood are mostly inspired by Hollywood
and films of Nepal are highly inspired by Bollywood. This is a well known fact
that nobody could deny. But lately, even the movie posters are also being
copied from Hollywood and Bollywood' poster.
In the poster of new movie Facebook, Swotantra
Pratap Shah is seen which is totally copied from Hollywood film 'The gamer'.
Likewise the poster of nepali film 'Three lovers' is seen same as of Bollywood
film 'Dev D'.
Most of the well said creative works of our film
fraternity is seen copying from others. It would be more fruitful, if we give
more importance to our own creativity.
