Kathmandu
- Drama is emerging as a powerful model of change through which society and the
people are encouraged for positive social change. Drama always plays a valuable
role to raise awareness, values, in the society. Recently, drama titled 'Spesko
Kachahari' is performed in the Kushadevi higher secondary school of Kavre,
Suntakhana secondary school of Kathmandu and Mahendra Baudhha higher secondary
of Baudha. Drama was based on gender discrimination, poverty, sexual harassment
and the problem of drinking water and sanitation.
Education,
which is the process of helping people to find essential meanings in life,
involves both teaching and learning. To this end, drama can be useful for
learning in the curriculum. Therefore, education and drama are similar in that
they are closely linked in the learning process and they deal with students
according to the principal of School.
These kinds
of artistic activities, which are the most important aspect of natural learning
in education, have a power to expand every individual's learning capacity and help to be more creative and resourceful.
